Baladna Foundation for Development and Empowerment is a local non-governmental organization established in 2018 in Tal Abyad, north of Raqqa. It previously worked in Tal Abyad and Ain Issa Camp, and currently operates in Raqqa and Al-Hasakah cities and their countryside. The foundation aims to empower children and women, promote education and life skills, ensure a safe and just environment, and improve the quality of local communities through protection, awareness, community integration, and peacebuilding programs. The foundation holds an official license from the Syrian government under registration decision No. 266 dated 30/6/2025, and its main office is located in Raqqa.
